The Mass is the memorial of the death and resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ in which the sacrifice of the Cross is perpetuated.

 

It is the peak of Christian worship and it signifies the unity of God’s people. It is an action in which Christ, through the ministry of a priest, offers Himself under the species of bread and wine to God the Father and gives Himself as spiritual food to the faithful present at the offering.
